Cassava Starch Based Bioplastics Compostable Biodegradable Packaging Polylactic Acid Film
Polylactic Acid (PLA) Film, a compostable biodegradable film that is fully bio-based rather than traditional oil-based, is made from corn, cassava, and other crops. It is obtained by microbial fermentation and extraction to obtain lactic acid, which is then refined, dehydrated and oligomerized, pyrolyzed and polymerized.
PLA has excellent biodegradability and can be completely degraded by microorganisms in the soil within one year after disposal, producing CO2 and water, and does not pollute the environment.
PLA itself is an aliphatic polyester. It has the basic characteristics of general-purpose polymer materials, has good mechanical processing properties, low shrinkage, and is suitable for most synthetic plastics.
As a China professional PLA Film manufacturer and supplier, we are holding a monthly capacity of 500 tons out of three advanced producing lines, yielding a thickness from 18micron to 50micron.
We are committed to serving very good price PLA film while maintaining high product quality.
The certificates our product granted include EN13432, ASTM D 6400, and OK Compost logo for compostable products.
